Timothy John Orr, 56, of Newbern, Tennessee, died July 18, 2022. Tim was a member of Dyersburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church (West Tennessee Presbytery) and a former trustee of Memphis Theological Seminary. He was the youngest son of the Reverend Melvin and Naomi Orr. Tim had a long and fruitful relationship with MTS. In the summer of 2016, he finished nine years of leadership and service as a member of Memphis Theological Seminary’s Board of Trustees. Tim served in numerous leadership roles on the board including moderator and chair of the finance committee.
