Sylvia Elizabeth Parker Scott will turn 100 on Wednesday, September 23, 2020. Mrs. Scott is a long-time member of the Church Street Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Huntsville, Alabama.

“Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. Came to Huntsville in 1947 as a bride and have been here ever since,” says Scott.

“You heard her say that she’s been here for sixty plus years. So, well preceding my time,” says the Reverend Dr. Mitchell Walker, Sr., pastor of Church Street Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Her church family celebrated Mrs. Scott’s birthday with a “parade” on September 20, 2020.
