The Reverend William “Rusty” Rustenhaven III, pastor of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Marshall (Trinity Presbytery) recently presented 2020 Peacemaker Scholarships on behalf of the Marshall (Texas) Ministerial Alliance. Recipients Carolyn Heard and Davion Williams are actively involved in their churches, and the Marshall High School staff felt each exhibited the characteristics of a peacemaker.

Peacemaker Scholarships are a fifteen year tradition of the Marshall Ministerial Alliance. The scholarships are usually awarded at the Marshall High School Baccalaureate Service which was cancelled due to concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic.
