Roger Dale McElroy, 69, of Harned, Kentucky, died January 26, 2022, of COVID-19. Currently a member of Clifton Mills Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Cumberland Presbytery), he was a preacher for many years and served as pastor at Payneville Community Church and Meade County General Baptist Church. Roger was an avid musician who played guitar and sang. He spent most of his life in gospel groups. Roger’s wife was Delma Irlene Hobbs McElroy, president of the Cumberland Region, Cumberland Presbyterian Women’s Ministry.
