The Reverend Robert Lee Truax, Jr., 76, of Lakeland, Tennessee, reportedly died in early-December 2022. He apparently suffered head trauma from a fall while walking home from the grocery store. A native Memphian, Robert graduated from Central High School in 1964. He, for many years, was a member of, and was granted honorably retired status by, West Tennessee Presbytery in June 2011. He was recently moved to Presbytery for the Mid-South by the Synod of Great Rivers. He had served Morning Sun Cumberland Presbyterian Church (now in Cornerstone Presbytery). In the 1980s, Robert worked for the Cumberland Presbyterian Resource Center (the Cumberland Bookstore) at the Center in Memphis. He had also been an employee of the United States Postal Service.
