The Reverend Jennifer Hayes (Red River Presbytery) has accepted a position as Director of Pastoral & Spiritual Care at Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. Hayes joined the hospital in 2016 as the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Chaplain and, since 2020, has served as the PRN (pro re nata) Chaplain Supervisor. She graduated from Memphis Theological Seminary in 2014 and previously from Bethel University in McKenzie, Tennessee. She has thirteen years of experience as a chaplain having previously served as a chaplain at Children’s Hospital at Erlanger in Chattanooga, Tennessee, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, and at the Cumberland Presbyterian Birthplace Shrine at Montgomery Bell State Park near Dickson, Tennessee.
