First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Rogersville, Alabama, has teamed up with the Muscle Shoals Music Association, FAME Recording Studios, and Premium Mountaire chicken company in “Operation Drumstick” to feed musicians, waiters, waitresses and others in the music industry who are out of work. It is estimated that around 200 gig and session musicians are out of work from the Muscle Shoals area alone. Easter weekend, Operation Drumstick handed out 700 pounds of chicken to musicians and others.
