New Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Weakley County, Tennessee, suffered significant structural damage during a tornado on the morning of December 11, 2021. While the structure is generally intact it was twisted on its foundation by the storm. The session initially thought the building was beyond repair but now hope to find a firm specializing in the restoration of historic building in order to salvage the church.
