CPWM Scholarship Winners 2022-2023
My name is Autumn White, I am 36 years old and I reside in rural Gibson County TN. I am engaged to Kenny Brewer and we share 6 wonderful children between us. I am the daughter of Lois and Robert White, the granddaughter of Florence Chaney and Janet White, and the sister to two brothers (Wayne and James.) I am also an aunt to many nieces and nephews. I became a member of Oliver’s Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Bradford, TN at the age of 12. I have been in recovery from drug addiction for 6 years and I joined Bethel University in 2020 to pursue a degree in psychology. It is my dream to become an alcohol and drug counselor so that I can help others who are struggling with addiction. Bethel has been an amazing school and I have learned so much from the amazing professors here. I hope to graduate next fall and begin my pursuit of helping others. Thanks be to God for his forgiveness and for second chances because I would not be here today without it.

The next years I have been in the CPC from Armenia, Colombia as well, working together with my parents in their pastoral call.
I have made part of the worship ministry in both churches in Colombia, as well as in the church where I used to assist in Germany. I have also served in the new generations’ ministry, with Children, Teenagers and Youths where I have helped in teaching, discipleship and leadership. My dream is to be able to bless others using God’s gifts to me: Music, Sports, languages, education and even counselling, helping especially the new generations in their life process, leading them to understand that we reach our best only through God and that we can be their instruments in this world that really needs him.
