Mary Janie Jackson, 94, of Kenton died Saturday, August 15, 2020, in Dyersburg. She was a devoted member of Cool Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church (West Tennessee Presbytery). She was born October 10, 1925, in Dyer County, to Allen Kirk and Agnes Tidwell Kirk. Janie served as secretary for U.S. Congressman Ed Jones, also a Cumberland Presbyterian, for thirteen years and U.S. Congressman John Tanner for nine years. She was interred at Cool Springs Cemetery with the Reverend Jamie Adams officiating.
