May 1, 2020, the General Assembly Executive Board of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America announced the retirement of the Reverend Dr. Gloria Lynne Herring as Administrative Director of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America effective April 27, 2020.

Dr. Herring was elected Stated Clerk of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America in 1998 and eventually transitioned to Administrative Director.

GAEB CPCA is actively searching for an able administrator to fill the vacancy, and the GAEB will manage the day to day operations during what is hoped to be a short transition period.
