For many years, Bowling Green, Kentucky, Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Cumberland Presbytery) has been well known in the community for their spectacular Christmas displays. According to choir director Elizabeth “Faye” Robeson Delashmit, wife of pastor the Reverend Steve Delashmit, “the lights and figures are our gift to Bowling Green at Christmas.”

Over the weekend of December 12, 2020, a person or persons took the lamb from the Nativity scene at the church at 807 Campbell Lane in Bowling Green. Campbell Lane is a major thoroughfare at all hours making the theft of the lamb that much more brazen. “The lamb of God is a symbol of God’s gift to the world, we pray it will be returned,” Delashmit said.
