Carolyn Joy Hollis Simms, 82, of Pulaski, Tennessee, wife of the Reverend E.G. Sims, died February 6, 2022. She was best known as Joy. The daughter of Howard L. Hollis and Nina Mary Moore Hollis, Joy was born September 30, 1940, in Jackson County, Alabama. She was a 1958 graduate of Jackson County Technical School and then attended Bethel College (now Bethel University) in McKenzie, Tennessee. Joy married Edward Geary Sims December 19, 1959, while he was attending the Cumberland Presbyterian Theological Seminary in McKenzie.
