John Bolar Bartlett, 85, of Marshall, Missouri, died March 4, 2023. He was an elder for Marshall Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Missouri Presbytery). He was active in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church everywhere he lived. While still in college, he served as an elder of the Appleton Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Arkansas Presbytery) in Atkins, Arkansas, and while in Missouri, he served in many capacities, including youth leader, Sunday school teacher, clerk of the session, and as church treasurer. He served as moderator of presbytery and moderator of the former Missouri Synod.
