Jewell “Charlotte” Beard Davis, 87, died April 29, 2021, in Missouri. She was born on the family farm near Competition, Missouri, July 28, 1933, to Stanley & Helen (Johnson) Beard. Charlotte joined White Oak Pond Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Missouri Presbytery) when she married Carl Jean Davis, February 3, 1951. She was a member for over 70 years. A charter member of Circle 2, Charlotte participated in Cumberland Presbyterian Women serving as a treasurer, secretary and president at the local and presbyterial level and receiving the Perpetual, Patron, Silver Patron and Golden Patron memberships. Charlotte’s daughter Carla Jeanette Bellis serves on the Ministry Council of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church and daughter the Reverend Jill Davis Carr serves as Associate Pastor of White Oak Pond Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Granddaughter Allison Rose Carr serves on the General Assembly Nominating Committee. Grandson Jonathan Davis Bellis is under the care of Missouri Presbytery.
