James William Keeton, 97, died January 31, 2020. He was born in Barton, Alabama, on April 13, 1923. He was a longtime member of Spring Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Grace Presbytery) in Montevallo, Alabama.

He served his country during World War II in the Caribbean Air Command, based in the Panama Canal Zone, and was honorably discharged from the Army Air Corps in 1949. He was a building contractor for many years in Shelby County, Alabama.
