James Cantrell, 81, of Science Hill, Kentucky, died August 23, 2022. Best known as Jim, he was an elder at Leitchfield Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Cumberland Presbytery) where he taught Sunday school. Jim is probably best known for Cantrell’s Record Shoppe and Music Center in Leitchfield. Born June 10, 1941, in his youth he was lead singer in a rock and roll band. He served in the US Air Force.
