Rev. Kristi Lounsbury: Earlier this morning (9/29/2022) I was able to be in touch with Teresita Matos-Post, Executive Director of Beth-El Farm Worker Ministry in Wimauma, FL. She stated that she and her family are doing fine in Lakeland, FL. They have been without power, however no other major issues at this time. She also stated that she has heard from some of the folks in Wimauma and everyone is reporting they are doing fine. Teresita mentioned thanks for prayers from everyone and was thankful the storm went south of the original trajectory.
Rev. Dr. Milton Ortiz: I have heard from the Florida new church developments, and they are fine.
Please continue to keep the state of Florida in your prayers as several inches of rain and storm surges are expected from this almost category 5 hurricane. This will affect all of the state of Florida as well as other states throughout this week.
