Green Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Bell Buckle, Tennessee (Columbia Presbytery), is a small congregation that does everything in a BIG way, including Pastor Appreciation Month.

In the first Sunday in October I walked into the church to the smell of a homemade fudge pie baking in the oven for me! This was the start of a shower of appreciation gifts from EVERY member of the church. Every Sunday in October I find my desk full of gifts, good food that they know I like, and appreciation galore. I have received gift cards to various favorite places, several gifts that really match my likes and favorites (my chickens got a bag of meal-worms, I got a custom made bookmark with a quote by Michael Scott from The Office engraved on it), good ole cash, AND they bought me 2 tickets to the C.S. Lewis Christmas production at TPAC in December! This pastor has no doubt that she is appreciated!
