Focus
Close your eyes and open yourself as you relax into a peaceful state. Be willing to expose yourself for who you are as God created you to be. Breathe deeply as you prepare to hear God’s Word.

Psalm 119:49-56
49 Remember your promise to me;
it is my only hope.
50 Your promise revives me;
it comforts me in all my troubles.
51 The proud hold me in utter contempt,
but I do not turn away from your instructions.
52 I meditate on your age-old regulations;
O LORD, they comfort me.
53 I become furious with the wicked,
because they reject your instructions.
54 Your decrees have been the theme of my songs
wherever I have lived.
55 I reflect at night on who you are, O LORD;
therefore, I obey your instructions.
56 This is how I spend my life:
obeying your commandments.
Reflect
Your life is made up of the decisions you make and the consequences of those decisions. We all make some bad decisions and as well as good decisions. Those decisions are made from information we have received. The quality of the information often determines the quality of the decision. So, it is important to consider the source of the information to make wise decisions.
I love verse 55 of our scripture for today. The psalmist reflects on the ultimate source, and that is God. When we reflect on the qualities of God and his wisdom and grace, it becomes very apparent what decisions we should make. It is easy to forgive when I remember he forgave. It is easy to be a person of grace when I remember how graceful he was. I can love my neighbor because he loves me. This week you will face many challenges and decisions. Reflect on God and who he is, and he will lead you into righteous paths.
Pray
Help me to trust in You and lean not on my own understanding today, Lord. Amen
Go with God!
