Experience silence in the midst of your busy day. Take some time to relax into a time to be with God.

7 The end of all things is near; therefore be serious and discipline yourselves for the sake of your prayers. 8 Above all, maintain constant love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins. 9 Be hospitable to one another without complaining. 10 Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received. 11 Whoever speaks must do so as one speaking the very words of God; whoever serves must do so with the strength that God supplies, so that God may be glorified in all things through Jesus Christ. To him belong the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.
Reflect
As I read our scripture verses for today, I began to think about the gifts God has blessed us with. Are we serving God with these gifts? The gifts I began to think about aren’t the usual gifts that come to mind, such as the gift to preach, teach, sing, play an instrument, etc. We aren’t all blessed with each of these gifts, but God has blessed us with the ability to glorify His name in other ways. We have the gift of dependability.
Are we living our life in a way that God can depend on us to be faithful servants? Can He trust us to do the things He’s asked us to do? We have the gift of reliability. When asked to do things in our church, are we reliable in getting them done? When God places opportunities for us to witness for Him, can He rely on us to share His Word? We have the gift of availability. When God’s work is in front of us, are we available to do it, or are we full of excuses to put it off? We can have all the gifts in the world, but if we aren’t available to use them, what good will they be? Throughout the Bible, we see men and women who were used by God to fulfill a purpose. They each had different gifts, but the common denominator between each of them was that they were dependable, reliable, and available. Can God count on you?
Pray
Dear Lord, as I begin my day, I want to be dependable, reliable and available to do your will. Don’t let me waste the gifts that you have graciously blessed me with. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
Go with God.
