Heraclitus, a Greek philosopher, has been quoted as saying “change is the only constant in life.”  For me, God is the only real constant in life. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. God is constant and rules in majesty.

We usually feel good and accomplished when we receive an honor, a degree, an award, etc. in recognition of some of our work that we are successful in. We appreciate the recognition.  In our text, we see “The Lord is king, he is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed, he is girded with strength. He has established the world; it shall never be moved; your throne is established from of old; you are from everlasting.” (Psalm 93:1-2).

God is accomplished far above the earthly kings. There is no basis for comparison. Let us give God the honor due. God has more than earn it. God deserves our recognition.
