A Psalm of David.
1 O Lord, who may abide in your tent?
Who may dwell on your holy hill?
2 Those who walk blamelessly, and do what is right,
and speak the truth from their heart;
3 who do not slander with their tongue,
and do no evil to their friends,
nor take up a reproach against their neighbors;
Reflect
The first verse of our Psalm asks, who may abide in your tent, who may dwell on your holy hill? Then the Psalmist lists some characteristics of those who are able to abide and dwell. The problem is that the characteristics are unattainable. As Paul and Isaiah write, there is no one righteous, no not one. Even this Psalm reminds us that alone, we can not dwell in the presence of God without the grace of Jesus Christ. It is through Jesus Christ that we enter God’s tent and dwell on God’s holy hill.
Where have you seen God’s mercy today?
Pray
Lord, help me walk, speak, and live as you desire; full of righteousness, truth, and mercy. Amen
Go with God!
