Reflect

Last Sunday our church had a baptism. A young couple brought their baby to the church for baptism. The parents pledged to raise the child in the grace and love of Christ and in the fellowship of the church. The church affirmed its intention to be a place where that baby would grow up with support and love from the family of God. Babies are special not simply because they are cute and cuddly but because they are “freshly minted” images of God. When a baby is born, there is more life and, in a way, more God in the world. 

Praise God for this baby and the life that is created!
