Focus
Slow your breathing and become aware of the taking in and letting out of your breath. Focus on putting things aside so you will be open to what God is saying to you today.

18 Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour. 19 They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.
20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth. 21 I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth. 22 Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist—denying the Father and the Son. 23 No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
24 As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. 25 And this is what he promised us—eternal life.
Reflect
How many of us remember the saying actions speak louder than words? I am sure many of us have heard this statement or have even said this statement before. This is a powerful statement indeed. This statement has been shown multiple times in the word of God.
The most famous time was when God wanted to show how much he loved humankind. He said he loved us and then he showed us for sending his one and only son Jesus Christ to the earth to die for our sins, just so that we may have a chance of eternity in heaven one day.
In today’s passage 1 John 2:18-25 we are reminded to show the love of Jesus Christ to those around us. How many of us show those around us love daily? How many of us take time out of our day not to only pray for those in need, but actually help those in need. Did you know sometimes God will put us in situations where we can help someone, and we miss it because we don’t think they really need it? Or that they will use whatever we give them for another purpose than what we intended for it to be used for. Our mission ladies and gentlemen are not to judge those in need, but to help those in need. That is how we go from talking about the love of Jesus Christ and actually showing the love of Christ.
Pray
Dear God thank you for showing your love towards us daily. Now we pray that you grant us the ability to show your love towards those around us and near us daily. We ask these things in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit Amen!
Go with God!
