Focus
Are you tired? Take this time to rest. Relax every part of yourself. Breathe slower. Be ready for what God has before you today.

Hebrews 13:20-21 New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
Now may the God of peace, who brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, make you complete in everything good so that you may do his will, working among us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
Reflect
I love to go on outdoor adventures. I am an avid mountain biker, so I often travel around to various national parks and state forests looking for good trails to render a legit adventure. With that said, I often camp out when I do so. Despite having taken these trips many times over the past couple decades, every time I go on one of these excursions, I often forget something significant. Do you know that feeling? I will often forget something needed for camping or even riding my bike. I have decided that I have to always prepare myself for being unequipped to some degree.
Being unequipped for an adventure is frightening. Have you ever felt unequipped? What about for life’s perpetual adventure as a Christ-follower? I believe we are on an adventure every time we walk of the door of our home or, if you have a family living under your roof, when you wake up in the morning. It is a common fear to feel unequipped for serving God. One might have thoughts such as, “Will I please God today?” Or, “Will I use the right words while conversing with my neighbors?” Or, “Can I be an adequate reflection of Christ today?” The answer is, yes! God has given you all you need. God has equipped you in such a way to fulfill the will of God in your life adventure. It is in you. When you take the first step of your adventure, you can rest assured that you have all you need. So, enjoy the ride.
Pray
Gracious God of life’s awesome adventures, thank you for giving us what we need to fulfill you will and please you with the path you have directed us to. We pray God that you give us the confidence and courage we need as we travel these winding roads. And let our words and actions be pleasing to you. In the name of Christ we lift our prayers, AMEN
Go with God!
