Focus
Slow your breathing and become aware of the taking in and letting out of your breath. Focus on putting things aside so you will be open to what God is saying to you today.

Psalm 32 New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
Of David. A Maskil.
Happy are those whose transgression is forgiven,
whose sin is covered.
Happy are those to whom the Lord imputes no iniquity,
and in whose spirit there is no deceit.
While I kept silence, my body wasted away
through my groaning all day long.
For day and night your hand was heavy upon me;
my strength was dried up as by the heat of summer.Selah
Then I acknowledged my sin to you,
and I did not hide my iniquity;
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
and you forgave the guilt of my sin.Selah
Therefore let all who are faithful
offer prayer to you;
at a time of distress, the rush of mighty waters
shall not reach them.
You are a hiding place for me;
you preserve me from trouble;
you surround me with glad cries of deliverance.Selah
I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my eye upon you.
Do not be like a horse or a mule, without understanding,
whose temper must be curbed with bit and bridle,
else it will not stay near you.
Many are the torments of the wicked,
but steadfast love surrounds those who trust in the Lord.
Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, O righteous,
and shout for joy, all you upright in heart.
Reflect
There is no secret that we are not perfect and we all make mistakes. There is not a person currently walking the earth that is sinless. We all sin in one way or another, rather it’s in thought or actions. If it is not of God it is a sin, to say the least.
However even though we all sin our sins can be forgiven. This is because God sent his son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. In fact, Jesus Christ was the only perfect human being to walk the earth. Jesus was the only person acceptable to take all of our sins away. All we have to do is confess our sins to the Lord. We can do this by admitting that we are not perfect and that we need the Lord to make us whole. When we do this the Lord will forgive us and make us whole.
Remember that the death of Jesus takes away our sins. Which in return makes it possible for us to make heaven our eternal home one day. All we have to do is confess our sins to the Lord and our sins will be forgiven. So I ask you today, have you confessed your sins to the Lord today?
Pray
Dear God thank you for sending your son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. Father please forgive us for our shortcomings here on earth, and make us whole. For we acknowledge that we are not perfect and we need your help. We ask all these things in Jesus the Christ name Amen
