Reflect

Great is God’s steadfast love toward us! God’s faithfulness endures forever! Indeed, we have much to be thankful for! God’s love for us is immovable. God’s love for us will never change. God’s love is unconditional.

It is so difficult for us to believe that God’s love for us will never change. It is difficult for us to comprehend a God who still chooses to love us even we mess things up so many times, even when we choose not to be embraced by God’s love, even when we fail to share God’s love with others, even when… well, you get the point. How can God still love us?

But, why are we basing God’s love off of our actions, our mistakes, our sins? God loves us because God is love. God has loved us from the beginning and God will continue to love us forever. And, the Psalmists tells us that God’s love for us will not change. God will be faithful with God’s love forever. God’s love endures. God’s love wins. And, there is nothing that we can do about it!

In the words of the Psalmist, “Praise the Lord, all you nations! Extol God, all you peoples!”

O God, you are faithful… and we are thankful! Thank you for loving us unconditionally and for never giving up on us! Help us to always know your love and to share it with others. And God, we will do our best to praise your Holy Name forever! Amen
