Focus
Experience silence in the midst of your busy day. Take some time to relax into a time to be with God.

Hebrews 2:1-4 (NRSV)
Therefore we must pay greater attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away from it. For if the message declared through angels was valid, and every transgression or disobedience received a just penalty, how can we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? It was declared at first through the Lord, and it was attested to us by those who heard him, while God added his testimony by signs and wonders and various miracles, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit, distributed according to his will.
Reflect
I am dog sitting. People who know me know that I am not quite a dog person. I love them as animals, but I just don’t have the gene that causes me to coo and love on them as I would a child. However, I do expect them to follow my commands.
What a surprise I face every day with these animals. You can imagine my consternation when I command them to stay off the bed and they just look at me, turn their heads, and whimper as if they did not understand. This causes me to wonder what God’s face must look like when we, God’s children, turn our faces, whimper, and then do as we please.
Pray
Our most gracious God, guide us to heed your warnings and follow you faithfully. Amen.
Go with God.
