Rev. Johan Daza has announced his resignation as Director of Cross-Culture Immigrant Ministries. His last day of work will be May 31, 2022. Johan and his wife Erin have been called to serve as the Mennonite Central Committee Country Representatives for Colombia, South America. They will lead a team of 20 people from different nationalities serving along with local congregations from different denominations, partners, and constituents in different programs and projects in Colombia and Ecuador. Johan will continue to serve as a member of Emaús Presbytery in Colombia.

Missions Ministry Team (MMT) Leader Rev. Dr. Milton Ortiz is reviewing the job description for the Director of Cross-Culture Immigrant Ministries. Related discussion and recommendations will be on the Ministry Council’s February Meeting Agenda.

The Ministry Council extends its blessings to Johan, Erin, and their family as they prepare to move to Colombia to embark on their new ministry.
