Synod of Great Rivers at their last meeting initiated the division of West Tennessee Presbytery into two judicatories one of which is tentatively named Cornerstone Presbytery. As of yet, the Cumberland Presbyterian Magazine has not received any official communication from the organizing committee of this body. However, Arkansas Presbytery has posted some documents relating to Cornerstone Presbytery to their website.

This new Cumberland Presbyterian presbytery should not be mistaken for Cornerstone Presbytery of the ECO: A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians, which has churches in New York and northeastern Pennsylvania.
