Cleveland First Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Tennessee Georgia Presbytery) in the heart of downtown Cleveland, Tennessee, is building a new fellowship hall. The church session approved the $1.85 million construction project.
Pastor Jen Newell said her 150-member congregation is excited about the new fellowship hall. It will include a multi-purpose room, a new entrance on the western side of the building on Church Street, and some classroom or office space.
Cleveland First is unusual in that the church administrative offices are located in the historic old Bradley County Jail.
