Carol Lon Lim (Ng), 86, of Green Valley, Arizona, died December 22, 2020. Carol, known to some as Clara, was born in San Francisco, California, and grew up in the Chinese Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Presbytery del Cristo) where she eventually led the only Chinese Girl Scout Troop in San Francisco.

John Edward Turner, 88, of Eagleville, Tennessee, died January 10, 2021. He was a member of Rocky Glade Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Murfreesboro Presbytery), where he has served as a deacon and an elder.

Helen Hopkins Bowers, 91, of Petersburg, Tennessee, died January 9, 2021. She was an elder in the Petersburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Columbia Presbytery).

Charline Elizabeth Needham, 91, a member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Presbytery of East Tennessee), died January 20, 2021. She wrote a history of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church  and its families which was published to celebrate the church’s 150th anniversary in 2009. She was a notable genealogist and helped many people research their family histories.

Ruth W. Gough, 95, of Owensboro, Kentucky, mother of the Reverend Ernest Eugene Gough (Nashville Presbytery), died January 18, 2021. She was a member of Mount Zion Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Cumberland Presbytery) in Philpot, Kentucky.

June Smith, the widow of the Reverend Albert Smith, mother of the Reverend James A. Smith (Nashville Presbytery), and mother of Janiece Fleming, died January 23, 2021. This article is incomplete. More information will be added as it becomes available.

Barbara Ruth Lynch Frost, 85, of Franklin, Tennessee, died January 12, 2021, of COVID-19. She was a lifelong member of Franklin Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Columbia Presbytery) where she sang joyfully in the choir and prepared the church bulletins for many years.
