By request of the aging congregation, Red River Presbytery will close Saint Mark Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Fort Worth, Texas, at the end of 2021. The last worship service will reportedly be December 19, 2021. Worship attendance has been in decline for quite some time.

On October 28, 2021, the Bartow Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Tennessee-Georgia Presbytery) in Rydal, Georgia, was damaged by fire. The Reverend Mark Rackley, pastor, was on the premises and detected the smoke.
