Steven P. Hopkins, 72, of Benton, Kentucky, died April 19, 2022. He was a member of Vaughns Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian (Covenant Presbytery) where he was an elder.

Martha Maxine Chapman, 94, of Greeneville, Tennessee, better known as Pat, died April 24, 2022. She faithfully attended Mt. Pleasant Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Presbytery of East Tennessee)  where she worked tirelessly in many positions over the years.

Patricia Newberry Huitt, 90, of Eastland, Texas, died April 24, 2022. Pat was a member of Newberry Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Red River Presbytery) near Millsap, Texas. Born to a prominent pioneer family, the log cabin in which Pat was raised is now located at the Doss Heritage and Cultural Center in Weatherford, Texas.

Othema McConnell, 101, of Garland, Texas, died April 21, 2022. She was a long-time Sunday school teacher at Searcy Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Arkansas Presbytery) in Searcy, Arkansas.

George Cicero Mays, 83, of Greeneville, Tennessee, died April 23, 2022. He was currently serving as treasurer of the Presbytery of East Tennessee. George attended Gass Memorial Cumberland Presbyterian Church from 1946 until it closed. There he served as an elder, clerk, and treasurer for more than 30 years. Bob L. Mayberry, 94, of Ada Oklahoma, died March 21, 2022. He was a life-long Cumberland Presbyterian at the Covenant Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Red River Presbytery), formerly Latta Cumberland Presbyterian Church, in Ada. Bob was also a long-time subscriber to the Cumberland Presbyterian magazine.

Charlotte Sanford Fletcher, 59, of Springfield, Tennessee, died April 22, 2022. She was a member of Mt. Denson Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Nashville Presbytery), where she served as pianist. Clarence W. Hammer, 88, of Limestone, Tennessee, died April 21, 2022. Best known as Sonny, he was a member of the Philadelphia Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Presbytery of East Tennessee) where he served as an elder and as treasurer.

James William Hood, 89, of Franklin, Tennessee, died April 8, 2022. James was a member of New Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Colombia Presbytery) where he served as a part time Sunday school teacher.
