John Dugger Baxter, 84, of Greeneville, Tennessee, died October 1, 2021. John was a member of New Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Presbytery of East Tennessee) where he served as Sunday School Superintendent for a number of years.

Janis “Jan” Kay Edmonson, 79, of Lexington, Tennessee, died October 1, 2021. She was a member of Lexington Cumberland Presbyterian Church (West Tennessee Presbytery) where her husband, Al, is an elder. She had served another church as secretary.

Ismael “Izzy” Joseph Martinez, Jr., 43, of Fort Worth, Texas, died October 1, 2021, of COVID-19. Izzy is the son of the Reverend Soledad Martinez (Red River Presbytery) who was previously hospitalized for five weeks with the disease.

Joseph William Hart, Jr., 82, of Longview, Texas, commonly known as Joe, died September 12, 2021. He was an elder of New Journey Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Longview (Trinity Presbytery). A surveyor by trade, Joe served in the US Air Force from 1959 to 1963.

John Richard Woods, 83, of McMinnville, Tennessee, died September 13, 2021. He was lifelong member and longtime elder at Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Murfreesboro Presbytery). Richard, born May 11, 1938, was a retired dairy farmer and former President of Warren County Farmers Mutual Insurance company.

The Reverend William Yeung of Edinburgh, Scotland, a Cumberland Presbyterian minister from Hong Kong, died on September 15, 2021, of COVID-19.
