Nita Lee Frances Roberts Stoutjesdyk, 92, of the Lake ‘O The Pines community near Daingerfield, Texas, died May 15, 2023, due to dementia. She was a member of Daingerfield Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Trinity Presbytery) and a former member of Jefferson Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Trinity Presbytery). She regularly attended Trinity Presbytery with husband James Stoutjesdyk.

John Madison Dennis, Jr., 87, of Whitesboro, Texas, died May 11, 2023. He was a member, and the music leader, of Sandy Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Red River Presbytery) in Sandusky, Texas.

Emma Etta Norris, 99, of Winchester, Tennessee, died May 15, 2023. She was a dedicated member of Harmony Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Murfreesboro Presbytery).

Jacob Beu, 31, a detective in the narcotics division of the Rutherford County (Tennessee) Sheriff’s Department, died May 7, 2023, in a motorcycle accident. Donna Sue Brown, 86, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, died in early-May 2023. While a member of Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church, she served on the Diaconate and the Session and volunteered on many other committees and ministries.

Luther Edward Blair, 85, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, died May 4, 2023. Better known as Ed, he served as an elder, adult Sunday school teacher, and worship leader at Mt. Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Cumberland Presbytery) for more than 60 years. He loved to sing. Ed was a subscriber to the Cumberland Presbyterian magazine.

Joseph N. Bone, 86, of Rutherford, Tennessee, better known as Joe, died December 21, 2019. He was a member and deacon at Rutherford Cumberland Presbyterian Church (West Tennessee Presbytery) and had served in the United States Army. He was also a subscriber to the Cumberland Presbyterian magazine. We were informed 5/4/2023.
