December 16, 2020, Memphis Theological Seminary president, the Reverend Jody Hill, announced the institution’s accreditation had been reaffirmed by SACSCOC for ten years without stipulations. MTS was also accredited by ATS through 2025. Both of these accrediting bodies have also approved Memphis Theological Seminary to offer distance education.
