Dan Freeman, 89, of Scottsboro, Alabama, died September 17, 2022. He was a member of Scottsboro Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Robert Donnell Presbytery) were he served as a deacon and an elder as well as being chairman of the building and grounds committee for many years.

Mary Elizabeth Shumate Ball, 96, of Ruston, Louisiana, died September 15, 2022. She joined the now defunct Highland Avenue Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Louisiana Presbytery) in Shreveport, Louisiana, in around 1951, and was a member until the church was closed. She then joined Lakeshore Baptist Church of Shreveport.
