Campbell, wrote A People Called Cumberland Presbyterian in the early-1970s. Joyce was a member of Edisto Beach Baptist Church, Edisto Island, South Carolina.

Dwayne Williams, 81, of Middleton, Tennessee, died August 23, 2022. He was a member of the Bolivar Cumberland Presbyterian Church and grew up in the Morella Cumberland Presbyterian Church, both in West Tennessee Presbytery. His son, the Reverend Cory Dwayne Williams is pastor of the Dyersburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church (West Tennessee Presbytery).
