Bethel University Men’s Basketball veteran, Jamarius Mayberry, signed a professional contract to play in Galitos in Portugal’s Proliga, the university announced August 8, 2022.

The 6’5 forward, a former Wildcat and Gibson County, Tennessee, High School standout, averaged 10.3 points, six rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game as a Wildcat.

Mayberry commented on the opportunity. “I’m very blessed and excited about my opportunity to play for such a hardworking team. The Galitos organization is an amazing fit for me and I can’t wait to get to work.”
