JV Baseball Schedule Released
MCKENZIE, Tenn. –Bethel Coach Rusty Thompson released the fall JV Baseball schedule Tuesday. The Wildcats have eight dates on the slate with doubleheaders scheduled each date. The schedule is subject to change according to Coach Thompson.
The Wildcats will open play September 28 at Freed-Hardeman. The Lions in return will travel to McKenzie October 2. A home and away series will follow with Martin Methodist. Bethel will host the Hawks on October 5 and then travel to Pulaski on October 12. FHU will be in McKenzie on the 15th while the Cats travel to Henderson on the 22nd. Spiced in between those games will be a home date against the Memphis Tigers. A road game at Jackson State on the October 27 wraps up the schedule.
Coach Thompson commented. “We are happy to put this schedule together and look forward to seeing our guys on the diamond. We are also working with Dyersburg State and could possibly add more games to the calendar.”

JV Men’s Basketball Schedule Released
MCKENZIE, Tenn. – Coach Jonathan Stanley released the Bethel University JV Men’s Basketball schedule recently. The slate includes seven home games and seven road match-ups.
The Wildcats open the year playing host to Williams Baptist on October 5 at 7 p.m. in Crisp Arena.
Coach Stanley stated. “We are excited about opening our year at home in early October. Our guys are looking forward to hitting the court and getting back to a degree of normalcy. We have a good group of players and they are hungry to play.”
Volleyball Adds Fall Matches
MCKENZIE, Tenn. – Coach Starla Cupples, like other head coaches has worked recently to add non-conference games for the fall. This as a result of MSC matches being moved to the spring.
Coach Cupples announced Wednesday afternoon two match-ups, one in late September and one in late October.
The Volley Cats will host St. Louis College of Pharmacy at 3:30 p.m. on September 26th. A JV game will precede the varsity action at 1:30 p.m. It will be Senior Day for the Wildcats with ceremonies taking place before the varsity action.
The Cats will host Central Baptist on October 27th with action slated to begin at 6 p.m.
Coach Cupples commented, “We have worked hard to put together some games for our ladies. We hope to add some on top of these two dates. Our ladies are working hard to stay safe and are extremely hungry to play. We are excited for them and look forward to these match-ups in the fall.”
