I am a member of Mt. Zion Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Columbus, MS, where I serve as an elder, church treasurer, and occasional lay speaker. My husband Bob and I have two children and two grandchildren. In our 57 years of marriage, we have been fortunate enough to have lived in several states in the Southeast and to have traveled extensively in this country and others.
I learned to love the outdoors as I followed my Grandmother about the yard and garden and look forward to getting a variety of veggies planted in my little raised bed as soon as the weather permits. Until that time I will read and post on Facebook: My mantra is "Saving the World, One Post at a Time".
I hope it can be said of me that my virtual "Table" has always been wide enough to include all who need to be loved, heard, and comforted.
Mary Jo and her husband, Bob, have been married for over 52 years and have two children and three grandchildren. They moved to Columbus some years ago when Bob retired from his job with the federal government. They enjoy traveling, gardening, and getting together with friends and former classmates.
