Anne Elizabeth Davy Kizer, 102, died January 27, 2020. She was a longtime member of Red Bank Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Tennessee-Georgia Presbytery).
She was born September 23, 1917, to Minnie Gray Davy and James Thomas Davy in Goshentown, Tennessee near Hendersonville. She married Arthur Roy “Bulger” Kizer September 6, 1935, at the Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Nashville Presbytery), Hendersonville, Tennessee, often called “Old Beech,” where she served faithfully until moving to Chattanooga, Tennessee, in 1951, where the family joined Red Bank CPC. She was the oldest member of the congregation and had been there 67 years.
She returned to Middle Tennessee for burial and was interred at Beech Cemetery adjacent to Old Beech church.
