The city of Albany, Oregon, is hoping to sell the former site of the historic Cumberland Presbyterian Church, a property that the Public Works Department acquired in 2000 for $150,000. But as of May 25, 2022, the vacant lot is still for sale.
Albany originally bought the site for street construction, but those plans changed. The historic church was moved in the fall of 2021.
The Cumberland Presbyterian previously reported on Albany’s attempts to preserve the church and the relocation of the church building.
