On June 19th-24th the 186th General Assembly (GA) of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church will meet in Nashville, TN. As a part of the GA, the Young Adult Ministry Council (YAMC) has planned for a gathering of young adults during GA. We hope to make this an annual gathering of young adults across our denomination. GA is an annual gathering of the church to discuss church business, fellowship and worship together. This year’s GA will also meet at the same time as the CPCA General Assembly. The presence and voices of young adults is vital for the present and the future of our denominations. General Assembly is a perfect time for young adults across our denominations to gather together to share their hopes and dreams for the CPC and CPCA. To see what is up for discussion this year at GA go to http://www.cumberland.org/gao/PreliminaryMinutes/2016_PM.pdf
The YAMC encourages young adults to participate in GA as well as joining in the activities planned for young adults throughout GA. Here are some of the events and activities planned for young adults during GA; (scroll down to see full schedule)
