Reflect

Do you ever just sit and think? Perhaps that just brings more questions – like the What ifs in these reflections – that either get satisfactorily answered or – cause even more questions and ponderings.

I am not suggesting in any way that the disobedience of any human could ever thwart God’s plans. Neither Zechariah, Mary nor Joseph, the shepherds, nor the Magi’s disobedience would have prevented God from sending the Messiah into this world in the form of a human baby. However, had these elected to disobey God they would have certainly missed out in the amazing blessings that came from being a part of God’s Master Plan.

As one of my former professors used to say, “Just a question!”

I believe we have found our Answer.  Praise be to God!

Father, we thank You for this day, all before and all yet to come. We thank You for sending Your Son to us. As we adore and worship the Child during this Advent and Christmas season, we thank You for the questions – and the answers in your Holy Word. In Jesus’ name we pray.  Amen!
