Memorial Day has passed. This is the traditional “summer driving season” for Americans. BUT, as you all know, gas is a little high and so many people are rethinking those trips to beaches in the south. Airline tickets are high too. Many people are choosing to stay close to home this summer.

Even though some of us are going to cut our vacations, I pray that we all get out and interact with God through the “very good” creation God has placed all around us. Make an effort to hear the birds, bask in the sun, and feel the breeze. God created us as special people and gave us a special place to enjoy fellowship with God. Don’t let your lack of going somewhere keep you from full fellowship with God and neighbor in this indeed, “very good” creation.
