The Reverend Sarah Ann Jeffery, 79, of Yellville, Arkansas, a member without charge of Arkansas Presbytery, died December 12, 2021, of COVID-19. She had been hospitalized for six months. Sarah served as a chaplain for the Good Samaritan Society in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She had been a case manager and social worker for the Area Agency on Aging for twenty-five years.

She was born July 26, 1942, in Woodbury, Tennessee, to Dorford and Verda Lee Keaton Hollis. She graduated from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky, and later from Memphis Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity Degree.
