Fredonia Christmas Parade Names Glenna Louise Shinall Rowland Grand Marshal

November 18, 2021, Fredonia, Kentucky: The Fredonia Activities Committee has named Glenna Louise Shinall Rowland as the grand marshal for next month’s Christmas parade.

According to officials with the Fredonia Activities Committee, Rowland is a lifelong resident of Fredonia and graduated from Fredonia High School in 1964. She has been an active member of the Fredonia Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Covenant Presbytery) and Cumberland Presbyterian Women’s Ministry for over 50 years. Officials say she also served on the Fredonia City Council and was instrumental in heading many projects that enriched the community during that time. They note one of her most notable community projects was working to restart the annual Fredonia parade. They add Rowland has a big heart and is loved by everyone in Fredonia.
